Space. The final frontier...or rather the first frontier of many seeing as it was a rather long day within the Multiversal Hero Association. The absolute pinnacle of technology and peace within the seven universes of the patented 'AD-Verse'. Considering that all the threats at this current time had been completely wiped out it only made sense that one of the M.H.A's best fighters, Alexa Myriad, decided to take a break from her usual routine of deliveries and just relax for a while...
But warriors never sleep and heroes always end up facing the most batshit crazy of scenarios...
CRASH!
"WHA-HUH?!" Alexa yelped as she was suddenly roused from her sleep, a large explosion seemingly causing her to fall to the ground like a sloth falling from a tree. Something was up, and something had managed to breach the outer wall of the M.H.A, and knowing the possible culprit Alexa immediately donned her gear before rushing out through the hallway of the western sector of the huge planetary space station before entering the main weapons foyer. Not only that but it seemed that a couple other fighters had decided to join her as the sounds of a struggle were already heard.
"N-Nngh! Let go of me! I'm not coming back with you down to hell!" A Rather higher pitched voice cried out as a much deeper and more menacing voice seemed to let out a booming laugh, one that created a pure sense of fear and anger within the other fighters that had been alerted to the breach. But who was the culprit in question?
Baron B.Z.Bub, a scourge among the underworld of Universe 6 and a well known benefactor of all kinds of mischief, be it drugs or weapons he always knew how to get them because of his charming looks. His chain covered arms glinting in the artificial light of the holding bay and his fangs already bared as he showed his signature sinister sneer. Alexa already could tell what he was here for and it made her sick, one of her friends known as Piper Vulcan, an imp that came from Universe 6 trying to escape the literal nightmares that walked there everyday was almost being forced to head back to hell with Baron Bub, and like HELL was Alexa going to let that happen! Piper had already gained a life for herself and no demon baron was going to take that away from her!
"Hey!" Alexa yelled as the Baron seemed to stop his onslaught before turning around and facing the teal haired superstar of the M.H.A. Upon seeing who it was he just seemed to let out a roar of laughter as he seemed to bring out one of the many cigars that he smoked, his suit already looking ready to burst with the raw, unadulterated power that lay underneath.
"Well~! If it ain't ol' teal face! Didn't think you'd try ta stop me after the last time doll-face! But I gots to apologise, this lil' miss is comin' back to hell with me. Ya see she's an important asset that I can't lose so easy. Ya get me? So if ya'd kindly run along to ya boss and tell 'im I was never here. Then dis place won't go sky high, kapeesh?" His voice oozed with charm and malice, a deadly concoction that made Alexa's blood boil as she quickly summoned Sugar and Spice to her aide, the pink arm length gauntlets shimmering as the red and blue gems on the knuckle seemed to glow with intense Spice Energy. The Baron seemed to just let out a slight scoff as he clicked his forked tongue a little, his eyes already screaming bloody murder as he didn't want to deal with some snot-nosed punk trying to ruin his business.
"A'ight, I gets where this is goin' and I personally don't like it. Maybe you fleshbags ain't so weak when it comes to stickin' up for trash that needs to know its place!" Suddenly with lightning speed the Baron threw Piper at Alexa, causing her to reach out to grab the smaller imp by her tail. Piper was already shaken up by the sudden attack but now she was just feeling sick as she let out a slight hiccup in Alexas grip. "A-Alexa...Beat the crap outta him for me, Kapeesh?" She then let out a slight groan as she passed out still upside down in the Spice warriors grip.
"I will. This fucker ain't getting away from me this time!" Alexa yelled as she soon felt the arm of a more robotic figure. Haruna, her fellow teammate and crew member had arrived seemingly out of nowhere. The android just looked over to Baron Bub before looking to Piper and holding out her hand, "I'll take care of Piper...you deal with the intruder" She proclaimed in her monochromatic tone as she took a hold of the small imp. Encasing Piper in a small healing bubble the android quickly leaped back onto one of the ships before folding her arms.
"Good luck, captain."
Letting out another thunderous laugh, Baron Bub seemed to let out a huge puff of smoke from his cigar before eventually taking off his suit jacket, revealing the charcoal coloured waistcoat underneath. "So dat's how it is, huh? Well I admire your enthusiasm but in this case...I could make you an offer that you can't refuse. But I'd much rather clobber ya to a bloody pulp dan here your stupid mug runnin' again!" And with that, the baron had already played his first move on this chessboard of battle! Breathing in heavily he seemed to unleash a barrage of smoke, prompting Candy to let out a slight grunt as she focused her attention on the movements that the baron would make...

"THREE!" Candy quickly threw a powerful right hook toward the smoke and managed to make contact with the Barons stomach, sending him flying as he seemed to spin around in midair before slamming his foot down on the steel floor of the holding bay. For someone so portly he could move like a bat out of hell if he needed to. But without even letting Candy take a millisecond to think, he charged at her again before baring his magma claws and starting to slash at her, prompting the brawler to bring up her gauntlets in defence as she let out a loud groan of pain. The claws whilst not as sharp as you'd think, were definitely enough to create quite the searing burn through even her gauntlets! She had to end this battle quick before it got too hectic...
The two quickly clashed fists again before literally beginning to pummel one another, fists colliding with fists and bursts of air spilling forth from the speed and intensity of which the pair were fighting. Haruna could only watch in a mix of both curiosity and awe because of how much her captain had improved, here she thought that she was supposed to be the weapon of mass destruction?
Letting out a loud yell, Baron Bub quickly threw forth one of his stubbier legs to try and roundhouse kick Candy, which only proved to work so well as she brought her gauntlets up before quickly disappearing from view, her body quickly moving behind the demon before slamming him in the back with her boot. A Large crackle of blue electricity came from her heel as suddenly a large burst of electricity forced the Baron to be blown forward, rolling on the steel hanger floor he let out a cough, some purple blood spilling from within his maw.
"G-Gah! You've gotten better...I'll tell ya dat, ever since ya beat Miss Fer ya got a LOT better at fightin'...BUT DAT AIN'T GONNA STOP ME FROM MAKIN' YA INTO SWISS CHEESE MOTHER FUCKER!" And with that the Baron quickly pulled out his signature weapon, his Tommy Guns from hell! Quickly pulling the triggers he started to fire like a mad man...well a mad baron, at Candy, prompting her to smash her gauntlet into the floor to create a makeshift barrier! The bullets quickly slamming and pinging off the metal surface as the barons mad laughter could be heard. He clearly was a pissed off demon that needed to be taught a lesson...

Candy's body had quickly transformed, within a moment the Baron stopped firing and just seemed to look toward the glowing pillar of light in a mix of confusion and slight fear. Haruna however knew what this meant...she'd only seen Candy use this form once or twice before but she only seemed to use it whenever it was a last resort...

"N-N-No...What's the difference?" He asked before his face was quickly introduced to Candy's fist as she seemed to show a cocky grin on her face. Her eyes seemed to have shifted from their usual purple-ish colouration to a much more sugary white as she seemed to gain a surplus of energy in her fist as it started to glow a powerful cyan blue.
"Well, Hell is where I'm gonna beat you back to and I'm gonna send you to it by sending you down to Earth!" Candy yelled as she quickly started to shout, slamming her right foot down as suddenly the aura around her grew more and more intense as the demon baron could only let out a slight gasp as he was winded. The demons body was quickly lifted off the ground as the pure force behind Candy's punch was doubled...her eyes closing for a moment before quickly snapping open once more!
"SUGAR CRASH!" She yelled before her fists became a literal blur, slamming the suited demon over and over and over and over again in any part of the body she could reach. His body was turned quite literally into her punching bag, and she was going to make him know it...But as she reared back to let loose one last punch to send the demon baron flying...Something seemed to stop as the scenery around her seemed to become more and more...grey-scale.

Something was up and the bruiser quickly shifted back to her normal form as she could hear the sound of what appeared to be...clapping? And then suddenly what appeared to be cheering as an invisible audience was already letting out a massive round of applause. Why were they applauding?! Who the hell was doing thi-?
"And let's give it up for Candy folks! What a real good sport!" A Distinctly robotic but male voice seemed to call out as a spotlight from seemingly nowhere focused upon a VERY tall man. This was not just any robotic man though, this was the host to what would soon be the greatest tournament in the history of the Universe...at least that's what he thought anyway.
The man in question was Charles Changesley, the hammy self centered host to Channel Combat. But almost anyone that paid attention to Channel Combat would know that if time stopped flowing in any part of the omniverse then it meant that a certain someone was being chosen for the tournament!
"Well darling I gotta say you put on QUITE the performance out there. Action, drama, a lil' bit of bloodshed but that's OK because this channel isn't G-Rated!" Charles showed a coy smirk to an invisible camera as the invisible audience seemed to laugh in response to his...joke?
"What the-? Who the hell are you?! Why's everything all frozen?" Candy yelled as the host seemed to let out a slight chuckle before leaning toward the invisible camera again.
"Women, am I right folks? But no, Alexa this isn't your imagination because everything IS frozen right now! But there's a reason! You've been specifically chosen out of millions and billions and trillions of people to participate in the greatest thing this side of the western quadrant...well aside from me, Charles Changesley of course!" Charles winked once more before his eyes focused back on Candy, who quite frankly was looking ready to beat the shit out of him.
"What kind of show is this?" Candy asked, her body already beginning to throb a little from the amount of energy she had exerted during her fight...but she definitely wasn't one to believe something like this so lightly, I mean who does that? Just freeze time during a battle and then start mono logging, I mean what is he? Some kind of villain character trying to give away his plan?
"Think of it like this darling. You, and many other courageous and powerful foes all fighting for one thing! The chance to get a wish from the Channel Master Ultimate Remote! This device could be YOURS if you destroy everyone and everything in your way on battlefields that change in the blip of an eye, against opponents that may not be there the next time you blink! Facing traps and perils beyond your wildest nightmares and even having the chance to tag-team with someone you might have NEVER seen before in your life! That is Channel Combat! The show where anyone who is everyone can become the best fighter on this side of the universe, fame, fortune, ladies~ It's all yours if you win!" Charles were very much rambling but he was definitely putting on a good show that was for sure...but Alexa seemed to be very much perplexed by this remote. If she won then maybe she could actually try and help restore Universe 6 to it's old and rightful glory! Maybe she could become a peacekeeper and give herself the best training imaginable...or maybe...she could fight the strongest warrior in the entire omniverse and beat them! Signifying her place in the history books as reality's greatest fighter!
Suddenly snapping back to reality she felt a hand around her shoulder as Charles pulled her in close...a little too close for comfort, as he seemed to look toward the invisible audience.
"So gorgeous...what's it gonna be? Do you wanna take part and get the chance to win one wish of a lifetime?"
It took Alexa merely a few moments but she seemed to be pretty excited. The chance to fight against a ton of warriors that she had never heard about before...it was all so exciting that she just wanted to explode but she was also wanting to get that remote for the purpose of fulfilling her one desire. To become stronger no matter the cost.
"Alright...Charles, I'll do it! For my friends and for the chance to fight all kinds of opponents that I've never seen before. I'll be apart of your tournament!" And with that the invisible crowd went into a frenzy, whooping and cheering for Alexa as Charles seemed to laugh before patting her on the back, he was clearly happy that someone had accepted his offer.
"Well done! Yes, well done indeed! You've made quite the good choice Alexa! But in just a few moments you'll be transported to your place of accommodation before the tournament begins. Remember, have fun and keep the ratings up high or else you'll be blinked out of existence!"
Alexa was about to question what was said until suddenly she was shoved through a random portal that had appeared out of seemingly nowhere, forcing the teal haired bruisers body to start warping and stretching as it was sucked through. The robotic host merely looked back toward the audience and even YOU, the viewer at home!
"Ain't that lovely folks? And soon you'll be able to see Candy in action as the latest member of the Channel Combat Tournament! So don't delay and tune in today because holy moly do we have a LOT of brilliant fighters in store...but who will win the remote? Well, only YOU can find out ladies and gentlemen! See you on Channel Combat VERY soon everybody!"

Meanwhile, looking down from his own ethereal plain outside the M.H.A...A.D was busy staring at Charles Changesley and seemingly tapping his fingers together. He understood why someone like this would create such a show but there was still something so...off about him in the first place.
"Candy...Win that tournament and find out all about this...Charles Changesley. He seems to have a...very interesting method of creating conflicts between universes...Maybe he'll prove useful to me after all..."
